International Business I is the second course in the International Line in International Business Administration. Preceded by Geopolitics and followed by International Business II, what makes this course different and special is the fact that it is the first time our students develop a subject in english, for this they are required to pass 8 levels of ESL before attending the course. International Business I deals with international administration and covers the introduction to International Management, The evolutionary stages of international companies, the types of international firms, the organization of international operations, control and evaluation of the foreign ventures, entry modes to international markets, International HRM and supply chain management. |

Luis Pachón is a professional in Foreign Languages and International Business from University of Tolima, his teaching experience covers almost a decade and besides University of Ibague he has also worked with the French Ministry of Education in Nice at Thierry Maulnier Institute. He has also studied Academic Writing in Tompkins Cortland Community College in New York. He currently works with the International Business Administration program as well as full time coordinator in the Center of Innovation for Education AVACO. |
